Updates

I am so happy with these, a wee while ago I commissioned some product and style shots as it was a longtime overdue and here are the results of a day running around some of Glasgow's finest hotspot's. They coincide with a blog tarting and launching my new shop which will be shoppable this week, so excited. Garry Maclennan is responsible for the taking of the photographs, I can't recommend him enough, especially if you live in London. Garry IS The Made in The Shade official photographer, worked on The State of Craft, The Busy Girls Guide to sewing and many other non craft related things too. He has just moved with his lady and my gal pal Made in the Shade's Carrie (what a powerhouse of a couple). So go and book him while you get the chance! Here is his BLOG with his London goings on.

NOTE: Use of sharing photographs MUST be linked appropriately and credited and if you use them please let me know. Thank you. woodentree@hotmail.co.uk

I can supply high res for press.

Summer Girls

These are from 2006, jeeps time fly's by doesn't it? I was asked to make some animal heads for The Needles, Summer Girls single which was set in Seven Oaks an amazing forest. I had so much fun doing it too, to watch this and other of Murray's films go here.

Books and things....sneak peak.

I feel a bit overwhelmed at the minute, not only have I always wanted to be in a craft book that this year I get to be in TWO, I really don't know how that happened. Anyway this is just a wee bit of info about both just now. The first is The Busy Girls Guide to Sewing by the wonderful Carrie Maclennan features Carries journey through sewing different projects. So exciting.

The second is The State of Craft by Victoria Woodcock, this is sort of along the same lines as Carrie, great minds think a like with project based craft featuring the likes of Tatty Devine, Urban Cross Stitch and DIY Couture.

So just a wee bit for now.....more to come soon.

Clever Fella.

I wanted to show you these testers for an animation title sequence by Cameron Duguid
they were never used but I think they are super pretty. Hope you are not out in the rain as it is lashing down outside.
