My wee plush Narwhals make the best gifts! Made with calico, a vintage fabric tusk and embroidered speckles. Some people don't believe that narwhals are real, but they are….unicorns of the sea.

A Barra Mercado

Here are some snaps taken by the talented Gillian Of Dapple Photography of my recent trip to the Barra's in Glasgow. A fun day was had I met some lovely gals and listened to some lovely music by Julias' Daughters. I also have some up dated designs, clove filled hanging trees made with embroidered linens, a smaller stag called Mr Roe and my trusty Flora is a bit more owl like. I found the same tawny owl picture in two different books, I think 

it's a well used image. I have made some new brooches they will 

be up on the shops by the end of tonight.
